Silent Disco Squad

Silent Disco Squad is a social music business that organizes headphone danceparties in public spaces. Watch the video.

Over 52 hours at a Startup Weekend, I partnered with David Zangwill to create the first version of the Silent Disco Squad site. We continued developing the web platform to enable more than 10,000 people to dance through the streets in almost 100 cities around the world.

We placed 2nd in the McGill Dobson Cup business plan competition  (230+ entries, $3,500).

Our team soon grew to 4.

We participated in the McGill X-1 Accelerator, a 4-month long accelerator with mentorship, officespace, $8,000 cash, and $50,000 free web-hosting.

I pitched demo day.

Then we DJ'd.

We spent summer 2015 developing www.ecstatic.fm to enable our users to collaboratively create music videos at danceparties.
